Ignatian Retreat for men in discernment
There were two Ignatian Retreats for the men in discernment hosted by the Jesuit vocation office this past Christmas season. One was held at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Milford, Ohio (near Cincinnati) and the other at the Jesuit Novitiate in St. Paul. The retreats provided the 22 men who attended an opportunity to pray, to reflect on their life, and to experience God’s love for them .The retreatants participated in common morning and evening prayer, daily Mass and Holy Hour. Every day they were also provided the opportunity for individual spiritual direction. The attendees appreciated the silence and felt their time was well spent. One of them described it as a “very peaceful and grace filled” time. Another commented that the whole experience was “amazing, really—there are no words to describe”.
